Heart Talk

Have you ever felt sometimes that you just wanna be quiet and shun yourself from all the noises that you mind could absorb? Oh we could be extremely busy person, we can do a lot of stuff for our lives everyday but in the midst of all the activities that we can engage in, there is a part of us that longs for something, it could be peace for some, it could be a time of rest for some others, but as for me it is moment of a certain longing, a void that is in my heart that only God can fill, a moment that only a time of prayer could quench a thirsty soul.

In these very moments that our hearts can be attune to what truly matters in life, it is the time that we can have a better grasp of who we are, not from the point of view of people around us. It is the time that we see our flaws, enabling us to rekindle humility in our lives. It is the time that we can see the dreams that God is planting in our hearts. It is the time that our trust or faith level is being renewed. It is the time that we can see ourselves able to meet others need instead of focusing much in waiting for our needs to be met.

So as i listen to my heart, here's some of the pieces of lesson that it telling me lately:

• In Love - If you really want the Best one for you, i have to put in mind that it will come in God's time, not in  my own time frame. God is the only one who can provide, no more no less. And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus, as the Bible says in Philippians 4:19. So what my heart is telling me on that aspect, be a happy person, i think it's one of the best way to attract love. Daughters of Jerusalem, I charge you by the gazelles and by the does of the field: Do not arouse or awaken love until it so desires. Songs of Solomon 2:7 once we pushes for something on our own, putting our best effort into it, we end up getting the results that is not best for us.
• In Career - God is an able God, i believe that, He can surely bless me with the life i so desired but i also need to do my part in achieving those goals, Faith without deeds is dead. James 2:14-26, it is needed that we have to compliment our faith, our prayers with action. Good action of course, God will not bless if it is not rooted from good intentions.
• In relationship - in short getting along with people, we have to admit that not all people in this world that we will be dealing with everywhere are nice or will meet your expectations. Some will truly test your character to be patient, to be loving. But regardless of how they made me feel, its really a test of humility for me to accept them and respect them for what they are made of, i know that they have a long list of history/stories that allows them to be the person that they are right now in the same way that i have mine too. I have to keep in mind that God loves all men.
