Overflowing Thoughts

David is somehow the most well like or probably the most well admired character in the Bible, well at least for me he is the one, he was described as a righteous king although not without faults, an acclaimed warrior, a musician, poet who is credited for many psalms that he composed, considered to be "a man after God's own heart," when I tried to figured out what that description fully mean it blown me away, maybe God found too much pleasure seeing, hearing and feeling David's love for him that is why he considered David a man after his own heart. If David lives in modern times as of today, a chance to see and meet him up close and personal is absolutely a moment to behold. yay!! (kilig much!!). 

I just admired how David glorify God through the psalms that he wrote, each words reflects how personal he is in his relationship with God, In Psalm 16:5 (MSG), he wrote "My choice is you, God, first and only.  And now I find I'm your choice!". Such sweet words from man like David truly capture God's heart.

In an attempt to imitate David, I tried to compose my own version of psalm, I cannot think of a title for this composition but it just simply me pouring out my heart to God.

One day this waiting will come to end

For now I want to see what each day brings

I know that You works far beyond my limited mind can understand

Your ways is perfectly fit for this heart of mine

I don’t know when that time will be

I’m just happy to what the present brings to me

Each day You allow me to know you much more

And I’m glad that I belong to the one who love me much and more

True love, yes I found true love

A love that is patient, a love that always perseveres

One who never give up especially when I’m hard to understand

Your love always remains even to an undeserving one like me

One day I want to go home

To the one whose embrace my heart truly longs for

To see you face to face is something that I am excited for

Soon or not too soon I'll be seeing you for sure
