The Lord is righteous in all his ways and loving toward all he has made.
The Lord is near to all who call on him in truth. He fulfills the desires of
those who fear him, he hears their cry and saves them.
Psalm 145:17-17
There is a reason for every prayer not being answered in the way we expect it to be, God's way is always the better and best option we could ever have. Things can get so uncertain at times and it only takes a heart full of faith to continue entrusting our lives to the One who already knows what lies ahead.
The past events that occurred such as the devastating effect of 7.5 earthquake and the terrifying effect of typhoon Haiyan that both hit the Central Philippines may give us some thoughts on why these things happened, it's heartbreaking, it's awful scene to remember. But there is always something good that came out from a very negative experience. I've seen how the world unified to give and share whatever they have to bring comfort and aid the victims, I've seen how each person realized that we are helpless, no matter what we achieved in life, everything can be taken away instantly, people remember that only God is the strong anchor that we can hold on to.
I still believed that God is loving toward all he has made, whatever we have lost, whatever things we didn't get and whatever discouragement and rejection we had experience and we will still be experiencing , all these are part of God's plan to nurture and to make us appreciate the things that is to come.
I'm excited for what is ahead of me, I'm seeing it coming my way, I know i know that as those things are approaching, i pray for a heart to be totally ready and accept the responsibilities that correspond to that blessings. I pray for a heart to seek God more, and not be disheartened if there are some discouragements along the way but to continue holding on to my faith. I totally believe that everything in our lives is a fingerprints of God's love enduring forever.
I like how the Song of Songs, described it "Look! The winter is past and the rains are over and gone. The flowers are springing up, and the season of singing birds has come!"
