2012 Dream List

So we make it our goal to please him, whether we are at home in the body or away from it.
2 Corinthians 5:9

May he give you the desires of your heart and make all your plans succeed.
Psalm 20:4

Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.
Psalm 16:3

In his heart a man plans his course, but the Lord determines his steps.
Proverbs 16:9

In the church tonight we had our dream devotional, it became a tradition already that before the year ends we prayed and listed down the things we want to accomplish in the coming year.  I reviewed my last year list and I realized that somehow I didn't pray hard enough for those goals, probably I am faithless from  the very start that is why God did not bless me with what I desire, or it can also be that some of  those desires are not what God intends for me ("selfish kase!") because He has a much greater plans in my life.

My 2012 dream list is something that I could say well thought of, or in a layman's term "pinag-isipan", before the dream devotional tonight I already have my prepared list of what will be the content of my dream list.  I'm not actually fond of sharing my dreams and visions to other people, I feel like it is a matter between me and God, I also think sometimes, that it is better not to divulge it to others so that when things will not happen according to what I expect it to be, I have nothing to explain ("faithless nga!") and sometimes what hinders me in sharing my dreams is I'm just too shy to let others know about it.

Since New Year means New Beginnings, I would like to begin by sharing to you one of my most favorite topic in my conversation with God from this day forward, " My Dreams....for 2012". I decided to share it this time because it's my way of faithfully expecting God to answer and to remind me also of my own role in making these dreams come true. I believe that for every dream we bring to God, He also expect us to have our own share of godly deeds to compliment to the faith we have for Him.

The list continues as I approach God everyday of my life, I know that it will not just end there, there are still many things to pray for, I prayed and continuously praying  for those who lost their families because of many calamities that the Philippines experienced this year, I hope this year will be a better year that everyone will be moving on and hope for a much better days.  For every dream we have for the year 2012, may God be still given the greatest glory that He deserve.
