How Do I Thank Thee, Let Me Count the Ways

When I felt my feet slipping, you came with your love

and kept me steady.  And when I was burdened with 

worries, you comforted me and made me feel secure.

Psalm 94:18-19

For all the times in 2011 that I worried a lot and yet you comforted me and made me feel secure. Thank You God!

I enjoy praising your name to the music of harps,

because everything you do makes me happy

and I sing joyful songs.

Psalm 92:3-4

For all the times that I sung my heart out loud because of the joy you've given me, for all the reasons that you made me smile. Thank You God! 

Yet God was kind.  He kept forgiving their sins and didn't destroy them. 

 He often became angry, but never lost temper.

Psalm 78:38

For all the times you've forgiven me, that your mercy is still on me despite my unrepentant heart. I say  Thank You God! 

Your kindness and love will always be with me

each day of my life.

Psalm 23:6

For all the times in 2011 that situations or chances favored me yet not because I am at my best but it is because of your mighty hands that supported and guided me. Thank You God!

The law of the Lord is perfect it gives us new life,

His teaching last forever, and they give wisdom

to ordinary people.

Psalm 19:7

For all the teachings you've taught me this year through the Bible, the preaching at the church, and the testimony of other people and for making me understand the purposes of all the challenges of 2011 whether in my personal life or the life of others. Thank You God!

You are my hiding place, You protect me from trouble

and you put songs in my heart because you

have saved me.

Psalm 32:7

For all the times in 2011 that I became lonely, depress, faithless, became hopeless but you provided a way for me to overcome those emotions. Thank You God!

I was nobody, but I prayed and the Lord saved me

from all my troubles.

Psalm 34:6

For all the times you never get tired of listening to my prayers, for all the times that you made me feel that I can always count on you, for all the times that you help me out and saved me from all the troubles. I want to say Thank You God!

I try to count your thoughts, but they outnumber the grains

of sand on the beach.

Psalm 139:18a

My God, I would never, ever count the ways that I can thank you specifically of the many things you've given me.  More than anything I want to thank you for being You, a God who love unconditionally and whose grace is beyond measure.

Thank You for 2011 and I look forward for 2012 because I know you'll gonna be with me every step of the way.
