In God's Time, It will be worth it

"For my thoughts are not your thoughts neither are your ways my ways," declares the Lord. "As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts higher  than your thoughts."

Isaiah 55:8-9

I wish that life could be that easy, that every time we will be wanting or needing something, it will offered to us in just a snap of a finger. Most likely one of the most difficult task to accomplish in life is to wait for something or someone, nowadays we are used to "instant" things such as internet instead of reading books, 3 in 1 coffee instead of brewed coffee, emails instead of snail mails, skype or yahoo messenger instead of  personal visit, our nights are filled with watching series on tv instead of the traditional family talk.

Same thing with what we wanted in life, we sometimes dislike the process of step by step, bit by bit accomplishment of the things we desire the most in life, career advancement, relationship and other goals we have, we tend to rationalize to God with our limited understanding on why He is putting things on hold.  We overlook the fact that God has a greater plans, He is well aware of the things we need but he is also refining our characters that will make us suitable for the plans He prepared for us.

I know we all have our own share of waiting on God stories, mine is something that needs to be constantly nourish with prayers and holding on to God's promises. There are days that my joy level is attributed to only if God will answer my prayer the way I wanted it and if he will do it now, but every time I acted this way I ended up bitter and unhappy.  God delays allows me to learn more about His goodness and allow me to see things in better perspective.

It's the love month, time flies so fast, another school semester has ended, it was a tough semester that I did a great deal of class reporting, script writing for a role play, case analysis and other stuff.  It was a wonderful experience! it's really fun to be in school.  I'm ready for a new semester in less than 2 weeks.

It is also my 6th times to be doing a wedding AVP, wow! grateful for the trust my friends is giving me with doing something that will be part of their life stories. I wonder how my own wedding AVP will look like =).

Waiting on God, who say's that it is easy? It is indeed hard sometimes, but I absolutely agree that it will be worth it.

This song reminds me of not giving up into something worth waiting. =)
